Registered Respiratory Therapist – RRT
Night Shift
We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team during the night shift. In this role, you'll provide critical respiratory care and collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.
Position Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome
- Administer oxygen and various respiratory therapies, such as bronchodilators, nebulizers, and chest physiotherapy.
- Perform pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analyses.
- Provide mechanical ventilation and monitor patients on ventilators
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Position Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited school
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Current Tennessee license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- BLS and ACLS Certification
