Responsibilities:- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures- Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles are in proper working condition- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and communicate with customers about the necessary repairs and costs- Keep detailed records of all services performed on vehicles- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Good communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Skills:- Market knowledge to understand customer needs and preferences- Spanish language proficiency to communicate with Spanish-speaking customers- Phone etiquette for professional customer interactions- Negotiation skills to discuss repair options and pricing with customers- Strong communication skills to explain technical information to non-experts- Math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during repairs- Sales skills to promote additional services or products to customers- Multilingual abilities to assist customers from diverse backgrounds- Inventory control knowledge for managing parts and supplies efficiently- Retail math understanding for pricing calculations and profit margins

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
