MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

We are looking for a Senior Designer, Digital & Social to join our Creative team and help shape how Fresh comes to life through digital and social. This is a highly conceptual, hands-on role for a designer who can own projects from brief through final execution and bring the idea and visual point of view—not simply execute the brief.

The ideal candidate is confident in challenging the expected, developing distinctive creative solutions, and translating them across social, digital,
e-commerce, campaigns, and other brand touchpoints.

Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own digital and social design projects from brief → concept → design → final execution, bringing strong creative thinking and craft to every stage.
• Develop concepts and a clear visual point of view that translate creative and business objectives into distinctive, elevated work.
• Create digital assets across emails, banners, landing pages, e-commerce, PDPs, and other digital touchpoints.
• Develop still and motion content for organic and paid social, creating innovative, social-first assets that are engaging, culturally relevant, and on brand.
• Partner with the Social Content Creator and broader Creative team to develop cohesive creative across channels.
• Develop typography, layouts, art direction, animation, and motion that evolve the brand while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
• Support campaign and social photoshoots, including creative development, art direction, pre- and post-production.
• Crop and prepare PDP imagery for fresh.com and e-retail sites according to platform specifications and protocols.
• Partner with Global Design on templates, guidelines, visual systems, and other ad hoc projects.
• Present creative concepts and clearly articulate the thinking behind design decisions.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Digital, Social, and external creative partners to bring work to life.
• Stay current on design, digital, social, cultural, and emerging technology trends and explore new tools, including AI, to push the work forward.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of craft and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

What You’ll Achieve in the First 6 Months

• Develop a strong understanding of Fresh’s brand, visual identity, creative principles, and point of view across digital and social.
• Build relationships with key Creative, Social, Digital, Marketing, and Global Design partners.
• Demonstrate the ability to take a brief and develop the creative idea and visual direction, rather than simply execute existing direction.
• Begin independently owning digital and social projects from concept through final execution.
• Establish a strong understanding of social-first design, platform behaviors, and emerging creative trends.

• Independently lead digital and social projects from brief → concept → final execution, consistently delivering work with a strong creative point of view.
• Help evolve Fresh’s digital and social visual expression, creating work that feels distinctive, elevated, modern, and ownable.
• Bring new ideas and creative solutions to briefs and challenge the expected when there is an opportunity to strengthen the work.
• Translate market and consumer needs into relevant, compelling creative across platforms.
• Become a trusted creative partner who balances conceptual thinking, design craft, brand consistency, and business objectives.
• Contribute to work that elevates and modernizes Fresh while supporting engagement and conversion across digital and social.

Qualifications

OUR IDEAL PROFILE 

• 4–7+ years of professional design experience, ideally in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, luxury, retail, or another consumer-focused industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related area
• A strong portfolio showcasing digital, social, branding, and campaign work with a distinctive creative point of view.
• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to develop an idea, not just execute one.
• Excellent typography, layout, composition, art direction, and visual storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of social-first design and digital experiences across web, e-commerce, email, and paid and organic social.
• Ability to work independently, make creative decisions, and confidently present and defend ideas while remaining collaborative.
• Curious, proactive, highly organized, and willing to challenge the expected and explore new creative solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of design craft.
• Advanced proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite (Including: Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere) Figma experience is a plus.

The salary range for this role is $100,000- $135,000 USD.
