CDL A or B Local | $281/day | Edgewood, MD TransForce is seeking a CDL A or B Driver to support Local operations based in Edgewood, MD. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. Local CDL A or B Driver Job Details:- Schedule: 5am - 5pm, Monday - Saturday, Home - Daily
- Pay: $281/per day ($1,590 - $1690 weekly)
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Flatbed
- Equipment: Moffett
- Handling: Light Touch
- License: CDL A / CDL B
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: None
- Equipment Experience: Flatbed / Moffett
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operate Flatbed with Moffett on Local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including unloading with a Moffett at customers homes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including using a Moffett and putting the straps and equipment away
