Starbies-Style Coffee Shop Manager

Any applications submitted along with a CURRENT Certified Food Service Manager Certificate will be prioritized.

The manager will oversee initialization and implementation of the daily operations of a coffee shop, including managing staff, ordering supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring excellent customer service. Responsible for hiring and training employees, tracking finances, and resolving customer issues. 

The Manager will help the coffee shop to grow by linking sales, marketing, new opportunities, relationships, and revenue facilitating structured business expansion.

I am searching for a manager who will mean what they say and vice versa as the foundation of both their personal and professional life. An individual who consistently tells the truth, keeps their promises, and acts with integrity in all aspects.

The individual will be transparent in their actions and words, and take responsibility for their mistakes. They will exhibit strong moral principles and values. They will tend to do what is right, even when it is difficult or unpopular. They are empathetic towards others, understanding their feelings and perspectives. They treat others with kindness and respect.

They have the knowledge, skills, and experience to perform their duties effectively. They are competent in the hospitality field of work or expertise. They respect the privacy of others and keep confidential information confidential.

No one can know these last four paragraphs of requirements about someone without exposure to them, socially over time, but they are critical to me. And so, I require that applicants accept a 3-week trial period as a “temp-to perm” hire.

Salary/Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
