Manufacturing Specialist Technician

Manufacturing Specialist Technician performs production operations, machining setup, and quality testing for medical device components and assemblies. The role involves collaborating with engineers on process improvements, troubleshooting equipment, and training operators while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and perform changeovers on production machinery for milling and turning operations
• Collaborate with engineers and programmers on tool testing, first article inspections, and process optimization
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery issues within authorized scope
• Train production operators and maintain cross-training documentation
• Collect operating data, calibrate equipment, and support new product development initiatives

Requirements

• 2-4 years of related manufacturing or machining experience
• Proficiency with medium to difficult CNC programs and G&M code
• High school diploma or GED
• Technical certificate in machining (preferred)
• Ability to operate machine controls and interpret machining parameters
• Understanding of gauge calibration and quality control procedures
