Registered Nurse

The role involves providing nursing care in a behavioral health setting. The unit consists of 77 beds, focusing on adult patient population. The expected patient ratio is 1:11. Experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred. Direct experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients is desirable. Responsibilities include patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of common diagnoses and treatments relevant to the specialty. Flexibility in working across multiple units may be required. Candidates must have a graduate degree from an accredited program of professional nursing or meet relevant state licensure requirements.
