Head of AI Enablement

Job Title Head of AI Enablement Location Remote – USA, Canada, Mexico Reports To Chief Product & Technology Officer Key Responsibilities Evaluate, prototype, and make technical decisions on AI tools and platforms across the enterprise, including hands‑on testing of agents, models, and orchestration layers. Build internal tools, dashboards, prototypes, and reference implementations that demonstrate effective AI adoption in practice. Set and run the AI adoption strategy, establishing metrics, milestones, and reporting cadence for the executive team and board. Formalize and operate the AI Enablement Hub as a cross‑functional capability, defining operating model, intake, prioritization, decision rights, and supporting cadences. Build and lead a distributed Champions network embedded within business units, coordinating Champions to deliver solutions inside their functions. Chair the AI Steering Committee and act as senior point of coordination across CPTO, CDAO, CHRO, Legal, Risk, Communications, and business unit leaders. Define and operationalize the JDPower AI governance framework, creating policies, guardrails, and responsible‑AI guidelines. Partner with HR on AI skills development, role evolution, and workforce implications of AI productivity gains. Build business cases for AI investments and own value delivery across the portfolio. Communicate AI strategy to internal and external audiences, including the board and PE owner, in plain business language. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Individual‑contributor mindset with executive sponsorship and an active Champions network. Experience driving technology adoption and cultural change across large organizations where the adoption was not initiated by the business units. Working knowledge of responsible‑AI practices, data classification, and the handling of regulated data across hosted and private inference models. Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior leaders without direct authority. Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to executive leadership and facilitating working sessions. Experience in data‑intensive or research‑driven environments. Familiarity with governance, risk, compliance, or responsible‑AI frameworks. Understanding of data privacy regulations and competence with enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini Enterprise, Claude, or ChatGPT Enterprise (preferred). Basic Qualifications Ability to influence and collaborate across business and technical teams without direct authority. Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive leadership and facilitating working sessions. Experience driving technology adoption and organizational change at scale. Experience in data‑intensive or research‑driven environments. Familiarity with governance, risk, compliance, or responsible‑AI frameworks. Understanding data privacy regulations and enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini Enterprise, Claude, or ChatGPT Enterprise (preferred).
