We are looking for two full-time Surgery Technicians or Assistants to join our collaborative surgery technical team, supporting our five Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeons. The Role This position is designed for dependable technicians who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You will be an integral part of the surgical suite, ensuring patient safety and surgeon support from intake to recovery. Key Responsibilities & Skills Anesthesia & Nursing: Expert administration, monitoring, and surgical nursing care. Technical Proficiency: Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and pre-surgical preparation. Imaging & Recovery: Performing radiology and managing smooth post-surgical recoveries, including bandaging. Communication: Providing empathetic, professional client communication and maintaining precise electronic medical records (EMR). Surgical Assisting: Scrubbing in and assisting surgeons as needed. Requirements Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred. Experience: 1 year as a Licensed Technician or 2 years as a Veterinary Assistant. Specialized Skill: Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with veterinary anesthesia administration and monitoring. Why MVSES? We value growth.
