Fleet Maintenance Coordinator

Courier Connection is recruiting a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to help us keep our vehicles on the road and functioning efficiently. A Fleet Maintenance Coordinator at a last mile delivery company typically handles various duties and responsibilities. Here are some key tasks associated with this role: Fleet Maintenance and Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of vehicles. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, schedule routine servicing, and manage vehicle inspections to ensure the fleet's optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Hiring Immediately for Dayshift: Tuesday - Saturday Perform a weekly inspection of all vehicles to check the tire pressure, oil level and tire tread wear to ensure each vehicle is operating safely and efficiently. Schedule and coordinate of all preventative maintenance and repair work on fleet vehicles. Review daily driver logs to address any reported safety, maintenance, or mechanical concerns. Implement a monthly interior and exterior cleaning schedule for company vehicles. Maintain an inventory of vehicle equipment supplies; spare tires, motor oil, wiper blades, phone holders etc.... Provide roadside assistance to drivers with mechanical issues or flat tires (must be willing to change vehicle tires) Performance Analytics and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to fleet operations, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-fuel consumption, maintenance cost, and equipment utilization. Generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities. Compliance and Safety: Understanding and knowledge of state and federal regulations to e nsure compliance for vehicles. Ensure the telematics application is operational on each driver’s phone. Vendor and Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vehicle suppliers, maintenance providers, and other external vendors. Ability to work with suppliers for adequate supply of parts and maintenance supplies. Ability to organize various work assignments with establishing priorities, analytical skills and ability to identify areas to increase efficiencies, reduce cost, and improve customer service. #J-18808-Ljbffr Courier Connection
