Housekeeper

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and guest amenities.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
Clean hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and other public areas as assigned.
Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets with linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to management.
Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage spaces.
Work efficiently to meet daily room cleaning goals while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a hospitality environment.
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical safety.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
