Role Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They operate within organizational policies, demonstrating professionalism, growth, and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered nursing care across the lifespan. Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes. Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless care delivery. Adhere to organizational policies and demonstrate professional accountability. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Current RN licensure in the state; multistate license preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred. Additional certifications may be required based on specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NICU NRP).
