Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Surgical OR Tech to support a fast-paced surgical unit. Candidate must have vascular skills, trauma experience, and be available for a short-term travel assignment starting within the week.

Responsibilities:

Perform circulating duties in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Assist with vascular, ortho, robotics, general, ENT, plastics, neuro, and trauma surgeries.
Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures.
Float between ORs and provide call support as scheduled, including weekend shifts and on-call rotations.
Maintain compliance with sterile techniques, documentation, and facility standards.
Ensure all work history details are accurately completed for submission.

Qualifications:

Possess at least 2 years of OR tech experience, with prior trauma II or higher hospital experience.
Demonstrate vascular surgical skills; NBSTSA certification required.
Hold current NY licensure and BLS certification.
Have reliable transportation, with the ability to work Monday to Sunday shifts.
Prefer previous travel experience and experience working in similar-sized facilities.
