Dermatology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Location: Milford, DE (Relocation Assistance Available)

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Setting: Outpatient Dermatology Practice

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (No on-call requirements or weekend requirements)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing dermatology practice in Milford, Delaware.

This opportunity is ideal for a provider with hands-on dermatology experience who is comfortable independently evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients in a busy outpatient setting. The selected candidate should be ready to contribute from day one and provide high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of dermatologic conditions.
• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform focused physical examinations.
• Diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing when appropriate.
• Perform minor dermatologic procedures based on training and experience.
• Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, test results, and follow-up recommendations.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team.

Qualifications

Required

• Active or eligible Delaware Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Dermatology experience is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant dermatology experience.
• DEA license required.
• Experience using EMA/ModMed EHR.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a busy outpatient practice.

Preferred

• Experience with cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology.
• Experience with blue light therapy and/or laser treatments.
• Experience working in a small office or private practice environment.

Patient Population

• Broad range of patient ages.
• Majority of patients are adults and geriatric patients.
• Patient Volume: Approximately 30 patients per day.
