PT - Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist is responsible for effectively screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care. They will develop appropriate plans of care while adhering to all regulatory and clinical practice standards. Responsibilities Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions. Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care. Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services as necessary based on patient evaluations. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers concerning physical disorders. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans. Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system. Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and in-services. Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students. Adhere to APTA and state-required practice acts and codes of conduct during professional practice. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. New Graduates acceptable if they possess Level II experience (not just Level I observation experience). Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation preferred. Must hold an Oklahoma State License.
