As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors, staff, and guests. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.42 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat10:00 AM - 10:00 PMSun10:00 AM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of museum spaces, historic grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation. Support a welcoming environment for guests while assisting with the protection of exhibits, historic property, and other site assets. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
