Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, allowing therapists to work one-on-one with children in the comfort and familiarity of their home environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations to identify each child's unique needs and challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address specific neurological, orthopedic, and developmental conditions.
• Implement innovative and engaging therapeutic exercises and activities to promote mobility, strength, and overall physical health.
• Educate families about effective home exercise programs and treatment strategies to encourage their participation in the recovery process.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with organizational and state regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and physical therapist assistants, to deliver holistic care.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and peer mentorship programs to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on pediatric patients, including those with developmental delays, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, and other physical challenges. Qualifications

• A valid New York State Physical Therapy License and current CPR certification are mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop effective treatment plans based on individual evaluations.
• Proficiency in engaging with children and families, blending empathy with clinical expertise.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred, though we welcome applications from all qualified candidates.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
