About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance for its Real Estate Division. The successful candidate will serve as the Division Vice President's key financial partner, with a focus on operating rhythm and process ownership, financial and organizational leadership, capital markets and treasury, financial planning and analysis, and accounting, reporting, compliance, and governance. This role is pivotal in setting and enforcing financial expectations, metrics, and processes across the division, as well as in developing and executing the division's financial strategy. The Head of Finance will also be responsible for leading the financial and accounting team, driving the optimization of financial systems, and modernizing reporting processes to enhance financial visibility and efficiency. Applicants must have a minimum of 12-15 years' of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience in commercial real estate, with a strong preference for those holding a senior finance leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in structuring and closing real estate debt and equity transactions, advanced financial modeling skills, and experience with real estate financial concepts and accounting systems. The Head of Finance will be expected to have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree, CPA, and/or CFA. The position demands a strategic thinker who can provide clear financial insights, support the Division Vice President in decision-making, and ensure the division's financial operations are in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
