Great business in Northbrook is seeking talented and driven individuals to join our growing team in two available openings of Project Estimator & Project Manager, Sales . As part of our team, you will play a key role in driving growth and success in the sector of the commercial real estate development industry that we serve. Multifamily new construction and Hotels.

Base salary compensation $40k - $45k plus 10% of the profit on any project completed and worked on.

Role #1 -- Project Manager with some Sales & Business Development - **This is client facing

Take offs, Estimate the projects you find or are handed to you.

Find new clients, find new projects of existing clients to bid.

Make calls to determine what your client wants from sell sheet- pass this info (material and budget) along to your estimator

Close deals, manage projects (with assistance from team members when required)

Use software to find new opportunities.

Have an entrepreneurial mind to grow your small business within

Role #2 -- Project Estimator & Assistant PM - **This is behind the scenes

Take offs, Estimate the projects handed to you.

Communicate with your peers about the project drawings, know the drawings inside and out so when we are awarded you have the knowledge to assist the PM and client.

Collect costs from vendors, be aware of any budgets, put together quotes, send quotes if requested by your PM, submittals, schedule of values when awarded, Keep up with a WIP spreadsheet.

Opportunity to grow into a PM if you have the interest.

Qualifications:

" Willingness to learn ebbs & flows of the construction industry

" Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers

" Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives

" Strong negotiation skills with an ability to manage costs whilst maintaining quality

" Excellent verbal and written communication skills

" Ability to self-motivate and work independently while maintaining communication with team-members

" Entrepreneurial mindset; willing to take calculated risks

Strong computer skills and attention to detail
