Quality Technician

Quality TechnicianAt Ushers, quality isn't a department-it's a mindset.We're looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join our quality assurance team on first shift and help us uphold the precision, safety, and performance standards our customers rely on. This hands-on role requires technical knowledge, keen attention to detail, and the ability to perform dimensional and process inspections under limited supervision. If you're skilled at working with tight tolerances and love being the gatekeeper for quality, we want to hear from you.The Details:SHIFT: Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 4:00 PM, Fridays 7:00 AM - 1:00 PMLOCATION: Pelham Road in Greenville, SCWhat You'll Do:Perform visual, dimensional, and process inspections on incoming, in-process, and final partsUse tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, borescopes, and optical comparatorsConduct or support Nondestructive Testing (NDT) as requiredReview blueprints, specifications, and job travelers for accuracy and completenessIdentify nonconforming products and issue NCRs (Nonconformance Reports)Record inspection data in the manufacturing software system and generate Certificates of ConformanceMaintain the calibration database and apply calibration stickers to measurement toolsCommunicate quality issues to manufacturing teams and suggest corrective actionsWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED (required)6-9 years of experience inspecting machined parts (turning, milling, drilling) in a manufacturing settingStrong understanding of dimensional inspection tools and techniquesFamiliarity with basic blueprint reading and shop documentationProficient in inspection documentation and electronic recordkeepingASQ CQT certification is a plusWhat You'll Gain:The opportunity to work on precision parts in a high-performance industryA structured environment that values quality, accuracy, and team collaborationOpportunities for continuous improvement and career growthJoin a team built on accountability, trust, and technical expertise.
