SNI Companies is searching for a Radiology Technician to support our client in the Jacksonville, FL area! The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of prior experience and possess an active ARRT certification.


Pay Rate: $27.00 an hour (increase after 90 days)

Part-time and full-time shifts available!

Radiology Technician Job Description
A Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and excellent patient care in a fast-paced outpatient radiology clinic setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and other radiographic exams as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting to radiologists for interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Assist radiologists and providers with specialized procedures as needed
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment; report malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
• Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and properly sanitized
• Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-focused care at all times
• Verify patient identity and obtain relevant medical history prior to procedures
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Current ARRT certification required
• Active Radiologic Technologist FL state license required
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification required
• Previous outpatient or clinic radiology experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test
