Job Title Assistant Program Manager Test & Evaluation (Senior) | PMA-280 Location US-MD-Patuxent River Job Type Full Time Overview AVIAN is seeking an Assistant Program Manager Test and Evaluation (Senior) / Lead Test Engineer for the PMA-280/Tomahawk program, a U.S. Navy surface and subsurface long‑range precision strike standoff weapon system. The role involves supporting program management and project management, planning, scheduling, and test & evaluation functions for the Tomahawk weapon system. The employee will perform duties independently and collaboratively with geographically diverse test teams. Responsibilities Support program management or project management services in planning and scheduling. Identify and support appropriate types of depth of testing required for the active phase of projects. Travel and work with geographically diverse test teams. Communicate and work with test teams. Participate in additional acquisition/test and evaluation functions as necessary. Write Test and Evaluation Management Plans and Master Test & Evaluation Strategy. Provide T&E technical advice. Hold Test Plan Working Groups including WIPT and TPWG as needed. Participate in program technical reviews, deficiency reviews, system verification reviews, and other technical reviews. Support technical studies, analyses, and planning to refine test verification methods and approaches. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a technical field. 10+ years of experience (with a Master’s Degree substituting 2 years of work experience). Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret/Upgradeable to Top Secret Department of Defense security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. Required Experience Previous APMT&E experience. Tomahawk and/or weapons experience is a plus. Salary range: $150,000-$180,000 (based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal parity). Benefits Empowerment as an employee‑owned company.
