Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and respond professionally to patient questions and inquiries. Greet patients and create a friendly, welcoming office environment. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Manage calendars and help maintain an efficient appointment schedule. Follow up on patient leads and referrals . Assist with patient screening as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Enter and update information in office and healthcare systems. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and office staff. Provide excellent patient service and front desk support . Assist with general medical office and administrative responsibilities as needed. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with patient information. Patient Care Coordinator Qualifications Previous medical office, healthcare, patient services, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred. Strong computer skills and familiarity with office software. Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT codes is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Comfortable communicating with patients by phone and in person. Dependable, professional, and team-oriented. Ability to learn new healthcare and office systems quickly.
