About the Role:

As a QA Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and inspection processes. Your primary focus will be to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in manufacturing or software outputs to maintain high standards of quality. You will collaborate closely with production teams, engineers, and quality assurance managers to implement corrective actions and prevent future issues. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in quality assurance, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with quality control processes and inspection techniques in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Familiarity with computerized quality management systems and data entry software.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements and standards.
• Previous experience working in a regulated environment such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive sectors.
• Certification such as ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections and tests on products or components to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Document and report findings accurately, including any deviations or defects, and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and refining quality control procedures and testing protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of quality assessments.
