Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service RepresentativeLos Gatos, CAThe Whole Pet Vet Hospital & Wellness Center is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.Schedule and compensation:Compensation: $24 - $26 per hour, for each hour workedThis is a full-time position with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday through Friday and 2 weekend inventory days per year.Full-time Benefits Package*:Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance with choice of United Healthcare or Kaiser PermanenteLife insurance and disabilityEmployee Assistance Program401k with company match starting in 2027Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable lawPersonal pet discountUniform allowance*Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state lawMinimum qualifications and skill set:2+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing rolePrevious veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferredFear Free Certification or willingness to become certifiedProficiency in the following skills:Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clientsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situationsStrong organizational and time management skillsExperience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferredAbility to accurately process payments and maintain financial recordsPositive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a teamAbility to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periodsAbout us:The Whole Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center in Los Gatos, CA is a modern, progressive practice offering integrative care including rehab and acupuncture.
