Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, offering the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining assigned armed post responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, housing areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could require follow-up.
• Monitor access points, movement throughout restricted areas, and/or visitor activity in accordance with post orders and facility protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activity, policy concerns, and/or interactions with staff, visitors, and residents as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
