The landmarked Illinois Building has been restored to feature 170 Modern Guestrooms, 17 Luxurious Suites, Lobby Lounge and a stunning Rooftop Bar with iconic views of Monument Circle.Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guestsEvery day is different, but you'll mostly be:Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guestsHelping our guests in any way you can – whether they've forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevatorKeeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problemsMonitoring and controlling supplies to minimize wasteDoing your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced itemsRegularly assisting with deep clean projectsWhat we need from youPrior heavy duty cleaning experience preferred.Minimum 1 year of experience working in housekeeping is required, preferably in a high-volume hotel, conference center or resort.It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important.Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects.Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning standards and safetyProfessional attitude with guest and team members; must follow uniform and grooming guidelines.What you can expect from usWe give our people everything they need to succeed.
