Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to work on a 13‑week assignment at a facility in Everett, Washington. Key Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week, 8‑hour days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management strategies. Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home settings. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Prior experience in a similar setting; new graduates are welcome. Additional certifications or licenses may be required for this position. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking and excellent interpersonal communication. Strong written and verbal English proficiency. Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, and handle equipment weighing 50–100 lbs. Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a positive professional attitude.
