About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technologist Specialty: RCIS - Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9H Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS or ARRT CI Must-Have: Cath experience required. IR experience or willingness to learn preferred. Description: The position involves circulating and monitoring cases, including pre and post-procedure patient calls. Typical cases include STEMI, NSTEMI, and pacemakers, with combined IR patients in the lab. Technologists will work four 9-hour shifts per week. Some weeknight call is required, approximately 10 times per month. Weekend call is expected on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday about every third weekend. Holiday call is required and shared among staff. Call response time is 30 minutes. The department uses EMR systems such as Epic, MacLab, and Siemens. Unit orientation is conducted over several days after initial orientation. Only floating within the unit is required; no floating to other facilities is expected. Provided scrubs in approved colors.
