Summary Of Nursing Manager Role The Nursing Manager is responsible for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer in delivering safe, high-quality, cost-effective care by ensuring competent staffing in the Med Surg and Outpatient Departments. Optimizing resource utilization to meet productivity and financial goals. Collaborating effectively with administrative staff, physicians, and other hospital departments to enhance communication and process improvements. Key duties include: Optimizing resource utilization to meet productivity and financial goals. Ensuring customer service satisfaction. Collaborating effectively with administrative staff, physicians, and other hospital departments to enhance communication and process improvements. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Current Missouri RN license or compact licensure, with all state nursing requirements met. Minimum three years of nursing experience in procedural areas; leadership experience preferred. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 90 days of hire).
