The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety and support a work environment where employees prioritize their own safety and that of their colleagues. Responsibilities Implement treatment goals and programs as established by the Physical Therapist. Assist in therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercises, coordination exercises, and community re-entry training. Train patients in locomotion using assistive devices and demonstrate proper usage and guarding techniques. Utilize modalities such as whirlpools, hot/cold packs, therapeutic pools, and ultrasound. Monitor patient responses and document progress accurately, including patient education and involvement. Maintain professional and ethical relationships with patients and staff while consulting with various healthcare disciplines. Participate in quality improvement projects and share relevant information with peers. Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines, maintaining a clean treatment area and equipment. Demonstrate a customer service attitude towards patients, visitors, and staff members. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. CAPTE Certified. At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Active license in the state where work will be performed.
