Our commitment to excellence stems from our integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a halfcentury.ResponsibilitiesProvide power systems studies for a variety of public and private clients in the industrial, healthcare, higher education, and water/wastewater markets.Perform EE analysis such as short circuit studies, Arc Flash studies, etc.Meet and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and specialists where required.Prepare electrical engineering calculations, code analysis, reports, specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates to meet project requirements.Serve as the Electrical Project Engineer of assigned projects and execute designs with minimal oversight.Conduct site visits and field inspections of electrical systems.Required Skills & Required ExperienceBachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree from an accredited university.5+ years of progressive design and project management experience, minimum 2+ years performing power system studies.Accomplished Professional Engineer (P.E.) in North CarolinaExperience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with other disciplines as needed.Possess good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Well organized, with good understanding of electrical power system software, applicable codes, national standards, and electrical safety.Attend client and contractor meetings and prepare meeting minutes.Don’t meet every single requirement?
