Position Details

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. This is a travel position requiring the ability to work the night shift from 9 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, for a total of 40 hours per week.

Unit Information

The successful candidate will work in a CT Scan unit with the following specifications:

Number of Beds: 269
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 4 staff members
- Night Shift: 2 staff members
- Evening Shift: 3 staff members
Patient Ratios: Estimated & never guaranteed

Equipment

The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including new GE 512, 12, & 64 Slice scanners with additional GE 256 & 128 scanners expected in Summer 2024. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech/CPN.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

Minimum of 6 months of current CT Tech experience
BLS certification
ARRT (R) certification

Preferred qualifications include:

Stroke experience
Cardiac experience
AIDET patient care experience

Typical Procedures

The CT unit performs a variety of procedures, including:

Stroke and CTA studies
Abdomen and pelvis trauma scans

Unit Support and Environment

Our unit boasts 24/7 transporters for Radiology and round-the-clock radiology leadership support. We cater to a diverse patient population in a Level II trauma center. Our radiology team enjoys high employee engagement scores in the 80s, making it a rewarding work environment.
