This opportunity is a Per Diem, offers convenient night shift schedule and opportunity to pick up various shifts and overtime.

Role and Responsibilities

Delivers all aspects of Respiratory Care to all age groups.Assistsin the orientation and training ofnew staffmembers and acts as a resource person. Is able to crosstrainin other areas and willing to float to fulfill hospital needs. Participates in department QI studies,Inservices, and meetings. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke andcallinga stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Assesses andmaintainsairway,assistswith intubation, transport of the intubated stroke patient.Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual1-houronline training.

Job Requirement

• Graduate of an AMA approved program.Current registered respiratory therapist license in the State of Florida.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum one (1) year experience in an acute care hospital which includes adult critical care.
