Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) needed for a travel assignment in Morrisville, Vermont. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,003-$2,126 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Rotating. Work setting: hospital ER. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver age-specific direct patient care using the Nursing Process within department standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the ER; respond to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and provide treatments as ordered; manage IVs, telemetry, and lab processing as needed.
- Perform triage, prioritize care, and escalate to physicians or advanced practice providers during emergencies.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team; delegate tasks to other staff while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Document accurately in the medical record; ensure adherence to state and federal laws, hospital policies, and patient care standards.
- Apply de-escalation techniques and maintain a calm, safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license (state-specific licensure as required for practice in the assignment location)
- ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, and NRP certifications required; de-escalation training required
- If any certifications are not active prior to the start date, a plan to renew must be in place
- Ability to work in a hospital ER setting with rotating shifts and a fast-paced environment
- Current competence in emergency nursing standards and patient safety practices
