Headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana, we thrive on building communities, building teams, building leaders, and growing the business throughout the Southeast region with additional offices in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama.About the RoleWe're looking for an Ironworker that will be responsible for erecting and assembling structural and miscellaneous steel for buildings, bridges, pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), and other construction projects. This role works side-by-side with skilled tradespeople and the project foreman to interpret blueprints, handle heavy materials, and ensure every piece is placed with precision. The position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality.Core ResponsibilitiesStructural Steel AssemblyRigging Equipment and OperationSafety and ComplianceTools and Equipment CarePreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Completion of an Ironworker Apprenticeship Program or equivalent vocational training.5 or more years of ironworking or related construction experience, with strong background in structural steel erection.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Experience operating heavy equipment, rigging tools, and welding apparatus.Ability to perform physically demanding work, including working at heights and handling heavy materials.Flexibility to travel to job sites in the Gulf Coast, Nashville, and Huntsville regions.Eligible for a TWIC card.Reliable transportation.Ability to pass a drug screen and background check and remain compliant with random testing requirements.Welding ability with certifications preferred.Certifications such as NCCER, OSHA 10, or OSHA 30.Experience working with PEMB installation.Knowledge of advanced rigging and safety technologies.Core CompetenciesRNGD Values AlignmentLeadership and Team DevelopmentSafety First MindsetTechnical ExcellenceCommunication and CollaborationProblem Solving and PlanningRNGD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
