You will have rich customer interactions, giving you the opportunity to work closely with our product team to define priorities and roadmap strategy.What you will be doingArchitect the Future: Guide senior architects and mentor junior engineers to make strong architecture and design decisions that utilize the latest AI breakthroughs.Set the Strategy: Collaborate with our product team to promote engineering innovation and out-of-the-box thinking, utilizing both to make strategic decisions on prioritizing feature delivery and timelines.Cultivate Talent: Provide hands-on coaching and continuous development of our engineers to maximize their potential, understand them as people, and help them grow in their careers.Advocate for Customers: Participate in discussions with customers to help shape the decisions you make from both an engineering and product perspective.Relentlessly Learn: Master the rapidly evolving AI landscape and distill complex research into actionable strategies that enable our team to pivot, adopt new paradigms, and maintain a competitive edge.What we want you to bring to the tableExtensive work experience: 15+ years of software engineering experience, 8+ years leading engineering teams, 4+ years in cybersecurityInspirational leadership capable of maintaining high energy and high velocity within the teamDeep understanding of AI and agentic technologiesPassionate about building products that provide rich experiences for usersTrack record of interacting with customers and understanding their workflows and use casesDirect experience coding using AI agents and leadership experience guiding teams to use AI agents for R&DHands-on experience developing software in the cloud with AWS, GCP, and AzureExperience collaborating with globally distributed teams, reaching consensus, and driving execution as a team playerStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environmentBSCS or equivalent is required, with an MS in CS or engineering equivalent strongly preferredCompensation: At Netskope, salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below. This is a national range. For purposes of complying with applicable laws, the range applies to candidates in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Washington, and other states.The successful candidate’s starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.In addition to salary, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program. Candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive health plan and other benefits that can be reviewed at Netskope Benefits site.
