Description:
We are actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a Level IV NICU program.
This program provides the highest level of neonatal care.
The position involves managing high-acuity neonatal cases in a state-of-the-art facility.
The neonatologist will participate in 24/7 in-house coverage alongside a team of professionals.
Collaboration is key with a multidisciplinary team including several neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners.
The role requires close work with pediatric subspecialists for integrated neonatal care.
The neonatologist will also support resident rotations within the NICU.
Delivering continuous, evidence-based care for critically ill and premature newborns is essential.
Rounding responsibilities are part of a well-organized schedule promoting physician wellness.
The role includes participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the NICU.
Family-centered care and communication in a high-empathy clinical environment are emphasized.
The position offers strong institutional and operational support.
Coastal living advantages are available in a highly desirable location.
