This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in recruitment business and/or development, who enjoys building relationships, generating opportunities and delivering results. About the role You will: Develop and maintain relationships with employers across Richmond upon Thames, to generate vacancies, identify employment opportunities for local residents. Screen, assess and match suitable candidates to provide targeted support to residents throughout the recruitment process. Work collaboratively with employers, training providers and partner organisations to identify candidates and clients. Maintain accurate, high‑quality records and performance metrics on both residents and clients in real time. Deliver against agreed performance targets and service outcomes and visibly contribute to local economic growth priorities. Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience Knowledge of end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle (business development, vacancy generation, candidate sourcing, placement). Understanding of employer needs, workforce planning, and sector‑specific recruitment challenges. Proven track record in recruitment or business development, identifying and winning new business/clients with evidence of generating opportunities and successful placements. Experience managing and growing employer accounts, including repeat business and long‑term partnerships. Ability to respond effectively and efficiently to any number of tight deadlines within a pressurised environment.
