The therapist will perform care within the State and Federal Physical Therapy Practice Regulation. EEO/AA/Disability/VeteranResponsibilitiesComprehensive evaluation of the patient's level of function and development of the therapy plan of care.Identify appropriate tests and measures necessary to guide them in making the right decision for intervention.Implement and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs.Identify when to reassess or discharge.Possess the skills necessary for intervention through a screen.Complete all clinical documentation clearly and in compliance with company, state, federal and intermediary guidelines.Show patient respect through compliance with privacy issues.Ability to arrive at sound conclusions after getting and analyzing facts, weighing of information objectively and unemotionally.Communicate with interdisciplinary team members, families and patients in a professional manner.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required, masters preferred.Experience: Recent graduate of Physical Therapy program.Licensure: Current Physical Therapy State of Connecticut licensure.Special Skills:1. The therapist is able to integrate the five elements of patient/client management: Examination, Evaluation, Diagnosis, Prognosis, Intervention.2. Will be able to identify appropriate tests and measures necessary to guide them in making the right decision for intervention.3. Will be able to implement and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs.4. Will be able to identify when a re-assessment or discharge should occur.5. Will possess the skills necessary to determine need for intervention through a screen.6. Will complete all clinical documentation clearly and in compliance with company, state, federal and intermediary guidelines.
