Healthcare Security Officer – Danbury, CT Pay: $18.50/hour Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 5:30 AM–1:30 PM (32 hours/week) About The Role We’re looking for a professional Healthcare Security Officer to join our team in Danbury. In this role, you help create a safe, secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Patrol and monitor facility premises to deter and detect security and safety issues Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, professional manner Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general support Enforce facility rules and regulations, including access control and visitor management Complete clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports Work closely with healthcare staff to support a safe and respectful environment Report all health and safety issues and risks in line with Securitas policies and local regulations (Source: Group Health and Safety Policy) What We’re Looking For Prior security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not always required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work the set schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 5:30 AM–1:30 PM Must meet all local licensing and background requirements Our Values At Securitas, our core values are Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness (Source: Group Health and Safety Policy).
