Position Overview

The Co-Spa Operations Director oversees daily business operations while partnering with the Director to drive growth, profitability, team development, and exceptional guest experiences.

This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable analyzing business performance, coaching employees, solving operational challenges, and contributing to sales and membership growth.

You'll lead by example, inspire accountability, and continuously look for ways to improve every aspect of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and inspire front desk, guest experience, and support teams
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop top talent
• Conduct performance coaching and accountability conversations
• Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork and excellence
• Develop future leaders within the organization

Operations

• Oversee daily spa operations to ensure exceptional service and efficiency
• Optimize scheduling, staffing, and workflow
• Develop and improve operational systems and procedures
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
• Ensure consistent execution of company policies and guest service standards

Business Growth

• Drive membership sales and guest retention
• Implement strategies that increase rebooking, referrals, and client loyalty
• Partner with ownership on marketing initiatives, promotions, and business planning
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning

Guest Experience

• Ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience
• Resolve escalated guest concerns professionally and effectively
• Continuously improve client satisfaction and online reputation
• Maintain a culture centered on hospitality and personalized service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership or operations management experience
• Experience leading teams in hospitality, wellness, spa, medical spa, luxury retail, fitness, or customer-focused businesses
• Strong background in sales, memberships, or revenue generation
• Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong business acumen and ability to interpret performance metrics
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on leadership
• Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
