Category Manager - Network Construction

Overseeing the strategy and procurement for complex services related to network construction, the full-time remote Category Manager - Network Construction will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and develop category strategies to optimize performance and value. Key responsibilities Conduct internal and external analysis of category spend and market conditions to inform strategy discussions Develop and implement annual category strategy plans, identifying savings opportunities through negotiations and RFPs Manage high-complexity contracts and oversee supplier performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant experience Minimum of 5 years of related experience in procurement and supplier management Proven experience in negotiating high-complexity contracts Strong knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba Exceptional interpersonal skills for managing senior-level relationships
