Lead Software Development Engineer, Audible Team

Salary: $168,400 - 168,400 per year Requirements:

• We require 5+ years of professional software development experience outside of internships.
• We require 5+ years of programming experience in at least one software language.
• We require 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• We require 5+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build pipelines, testing, and operations.
• We look for experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering manager.
• We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent background.
• We value strong interest in web applications, services architecture, SEO, security, SNS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, REST services, and JavaScript.
• We seek candidates who are curious, self-directed learners who stay current with tools, trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

• We will have you champion an AI-first development approach to improve developer productivity and expand adoption of AI-assisted practices.
