Charge Nurse (RN)

Role Overview The Charge Nurse (RN) provides clinical leadership and oversees nursing services in a skilled nursing community. They supervise caregiving teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver resident-centered care with professionalism and compassion. Key Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff, administer medications, and update resident assessments Ensure adherence to care standards, policies, and procedures Communicate resident condition changes to families and healthcare providers Conduct routine rounds and address incidents or concerns Maintain clinical documentation and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams Qualifications & Skills Current RN license required Strong clinical judgment and leadership abilities Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations Experience in skilled nursing or senior care preferred Additional Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., and assist with resident transfers.
