Assistant Executive Director Location: Meadow Valley Senior Living | Job Type: Full Time Salaried What You’ll Do Champion a culture of gracious hospitality and neighborliness to ensure a home‑like environment for residents and their visiting families, focusing on first impressions, culinary experience, and ongoing engagement. Achieve and exceed Net Operating Income (NOI) and occupancy targets for the community. Oversee resident experience by ensuring high standards in hospitality, culinary services and continual engagement. Design, implement and evaluate daily life enrichment programming that promotes cognitive stimulation, social engagement and overall well‑being for both Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Ensure continuous survey readiness and adherence to all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements for Assisted Living and Memory Care operations. Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to support compliance, auditing and high‑quality clinical outcomes. Monitor and maintain staffing ratios in line with regulatory requirements, resident needs, and the approved budget. Uphold and model high standards of care supporting resident safety, wellness, independence and personal choice across all levels of care. Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure full, ongoing assessments, accurate care plans and delivery excellence aligned with licensing requirements. Support implementation of safety protocols, emergency preparedness and community standards protecting residents, staff and visitors. Build meaningful relationships with residents and families to address concerns proactively and improve satisfaction. Develop and maintain local partnerships to drive referrals, increase visibility and attract new residents. Contribute to strategic pricing and marketing decisions that support revenue growth and competitive market positioning. Lead the execution of an internal business development plan, assigning clear accountabilities and adapting strategy based on referral performance. Review and manage monthly financial statements, including non‑labor operating costs, to ensure alignment with budget goals. Submit monthly expenses and budget reports promptly, adhering to internal business controls and compliance requirements. Provide leadership across all departments to ensure efficient operations, regulatory compliance and budget alignment. Maintain excellence in facility maintenance, culinary service, activity programming and overall resident experience. Communicate effectively with residents, families and external partners to resolve concerns swiftly and effectively. Develop an inclusive and engaging workplace culture supporting staff development and satisfaction across all levels. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of prior experience managing Assisted Living and Memory Care communities, or equivalent experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills with coworkers, residents, families and partners. Ability to make complex decisions involving high judgment that affect overall community operations. Completion of LARA‑required training. Demonstrated competency in elder care management. Licensed Nursing Home Administrator license preferred; not required.
