Temporary Custodian PositionCardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for a temporary Custodian in Toledo, OH. There is potential for this to be a temp to hire role. We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining restrooms, locker rooms, offices, breakrooms, hallways, entrances, and other facility areas. May also include lawn care duties. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hour) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts include:1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4 PMThis position can be part-time or full-time for the right candidate. The custodial and cleaning responsibilities typically require approximately 5 hours per day.Duties & Responsibilities:Clean and sanitize men's and women's restrooms and locker rooms, including sinks, mirrors, toilets, floors, corners, baseboards, lockers, walls, and ceilings.Empty trash and replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.Clean offices by vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting surfaces, cleaning desks, keyboards, monitors, doors, handles, windowsills, and other areas.Maintain breakrooms by cleaning refrigerators, microwaves, tables, chairs, cabinets, countertops, coffee makers, vending machines, floors, and trash receptacles.Clean hallways, visitor entrances, printer rooms, and other common areas.Use disinfectants and a variety of approved cleaning and surface-care products safely.Follow 5S principles and maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow proper procedures for chemical storage, handling, and hazardous waste.Work effectively as part of a team and assist other departments as needed.Follow all quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.Report facility, product, safety, or other workplace concerns to management.Requirements & Qualifications:Previous work experience required; 2+ years of employment experience preferred.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently while also being a reliable team member.Coachable, trainable, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities.Strong work ethic and commitment to safe work practices.Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.Ability to consistently lift up to 10 pounds.About Cardinal Staffing Services: At Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
