Role Description The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, developing care plans, and providing preventive counseling and education. The role also involves managing urgent care needs within the clinic setting, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the medical record. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Florence, AZ, requiring consistent in-person patient interaction and participation in the practice’s team-based care model.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in family practice Nurse Practitioner and Nursing skills, with experience caring for patients across the lifespan.

• Strong background in Primary Care and Medicine, including management of chronic diseases and preventive health services.

• Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona, and national board certification (e.g., AANP or ANCC).

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP) and active DEA registration or eligibility.
\n
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.

• Experience in a family practice or primary care setting preferred; proficiency with electronic health records is beneficial.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain professionalism in a busy clinical environment.
