Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Job Description

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients at a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Under the direction of the Medical Director, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist, the Technologist utilizes their expertise to create diagnostic images, ensuring a safe and positive experience for patients. The role also includes performing CT exams on a variety of patients, including outpatients, inpatients, and those requiring specialized procedures.

Schedule

This is a full-time position scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Entry-level candidates with limited or no experience are encouraged to apply
