Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Pediatric ICU (PICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients. The role involves managing complex cardiac and respiratory conditions within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients.
  
  
• Monitor and manage invasive lines, including arterial and central lines, ensuring patient stability.
  
  
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, extubation, and central line placement.
  
  
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.
  
  
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, including codes and ECMO procedures.
  Qualifications:
  
  
• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience.
  
  
• Possess 2+ years of PICU experience, with prior exposure to pediatric cardiac patients preferred.
  
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing arterial and central lines, post-operative cardiac care, and neonatal cardiac patients.
  
  
• Maintain current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• Exhibit excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
